Definitions and background information
Reference sources, like encyclopaedias and dictionaries, are useful when you are unfamiliar with a subject area. You can use dictionaries to find definitions and encylopaedias to find background information.
Search these Reference Databases:
You can use Multisearch to search for reference sources available online and in the library.
- Go to Advanced Search
- Select "any" in the first search box to search for (handbook OR dictionary OR encyclopedia)
- Select "in subject" in the second box to search for broad terms (advertising OR marketing)
Click on the titles to get call numbers and locations.
