JCR provides Impact Factors for all the journals indexed by Web of Science. Impact Factor allows for the comparison and ranking of journals within the same discipline. The Eigenfactor calculation is intended to give a measure of journal importance, how likely a journal is to be used, and is thought to reflect how long the average researcher would spend reading content from that journal. the quality and importance of the citing journal. The Eigenfactor calculator can be accessed from the web or from the database Journal Citation Reports.
SCImago ranks journals and country scientific indicators. It includes most Australian universities and government research organisations. Journals are sourced from the Scopus database dating from 1996. SCImago takes into account the 'quality' of the citing journal, the number of citations to articles in journals and normalizes for differences in citation behaviour between subject fields. It is an open access database.
