You can create your own clips and save them to your own playlists from the EduTV Streaming Service. You will need to create a personal user account first. This is free for MQ users.

A Personal User Account needs to be created prior to saving clips.

Clips are selected segments of video, which you can save as a playable clip.

My Favourites are selected collections of whole videos or clips which you can save.

My Projects is a selection of material on a theme. For instance, you might have a film, a tv documentary and a clip which you've made on the theme of racism. You can store multiple projects here.

Why? You can use these clips to present in classes, embed in iLearn for assignments, learning opportunities and distance students, use for conference presentations, etc.

Make a clip Simply go into 'My favourites' and choose the source film or tv show. There's a link here to choose the start point and end point for a clip. You will be prompted to save it, and then you can view it in 'My favourites' under the name you've chosen.

For directions on how to incorporate them into iLearn see the next page Embed a clip.
