Scopus is a multidisciplinary abstract and citation database. It covers a large number of peer-reviewed journals in the scientific, technical, medical and social science fields, from an extensive range of international publishers. Also indexed are open access journals, conference proceedings, book series and trade publications, as well as patent records. References go back to 1996, while abstracts go back further. Linking to full-text articles is available.

It covers preprints, articles, books, journals, theses, photographs, etc. The Articles & Preprints collection aims to cover as far as possible the published and pre-published literature in particle physics and its related technologies. The documents originate from articles published in journals, preprints, technical reports, conference presentations, scientific committee documents and theses - all comprehensively indexed by the CERN Scientific Information Service.

Produced by the American Institute of Physics, this searchable database provides access to more than 1 million documents from scholarly journals, magazines and other special publications from scientific societies and technical publishers in the areas of physics and associated disciplines. Fulltext is available to subscribed journals. Cross searchable with Scitation is the SPIN (Searchable Physics Information Notices) database, which differs from Scitation in that it includes articles from other online platforms.

The AGU Digital Library is a comprehensive collection of more than 100 years of earth and space science research as published in the American Geophysical Union's journals. The library contains articles from journals dating back to 1896. Full text and Boolean searching across publications is available. Book titles will be added as they are available.
