We have made the decision not to include the Ask a Librarian box throughout our guides in V2, instead choosing to add a ‘contact us’ page onto each guide. This page is reusable from this guide, just follow these instructions:
Click on the + button on the left-hand navigation to add a page.
Choose the tab ‘Reuse Existing Page’ and select the Best Practices guide and the ‘Contact us’ page.
Tick the ‘Copy’ check box so that you can customise the page for your needs.
Click ‘Save’.
Make any changes that you need to make ie include your own profile box or discipline group information.
Remove the ‘Ask a Librarian’ boxes from throughout the guide.
If the information you are using on the first ‘Contact us’ page is suitable for the rest of your guides, use the ‘Reuse Existing Page’ option but this time don’t check the ‘Copy’ box. Now if you need to make a change you will only have to do it to the original page you created.
