Modern History

Find and use relevant resources for Modern History primary sources

Chicago Notes and Bibliography

This is the preferred style used in the Modern History but it is best to confirm which style is required by checking your iLearn unit page or asking your convenor.

This style requires that you create three elements

  • a superscript number in-text to show you are using someone else's ideas
  • a corresponding footnote at the bottom of the page
  • a bibliography. The bibliography appears at the end of your document and contains the full details of your sources.
