Mendeley support and the Library

  • We recommend new users use EndNote. The Library does not offer training or support for Mendeley.
  • Current Mendeley users should refer to the Mendeley Support Centre for assistance.

If you have any questions about bibliographic referencing software please contact your Faculty or Clinical Librarian.

Mendeley Help

Trouble accessing Mendeley?

If you have a Mendeley account previously set up through the Library, but are now unable to access it, please try signing into Mendeley with this link:

Sign in to Mendeley

Once you have signed in, we recommend exporting your references into a file that can be used in Endnote or Zotero. To do this:

In Mendeley online:

1. Select all your references, then go to the Export box which should appear at the bottom of the screen

2. Choose RIS (Research Information Systems)

In Mendeley Reference Manager:

1. Click on All References

2. Go to File, then Export All, then choose RIS (Research Information Systems)

NOTE: Even if you continue to use Mendeley, it is advisable to regularly export a file this way as a backup.
