AGLC4 Referencing

General rules

URLs can be included in a citation to aid retrieval of sources. See AGLC4 Rule 4.4:

  • Enclose URL between point brackets < >
  • Do not include date of retrieval.

Permalinks can be used as well as, or instead of, URLs. See AGLC4 Rule 4.5.

  • Precede the permalink with the words 'archived at'
  • Enclose permalink between point brackets < >

If you use generative AI programs use Rule 7.12 pertains to written correspondence. This is included in the bibliography (Rule 1.13) under Other.

Include the name of the creator and recipient first.

Example 1

Note:
