Items on loan to you are automatically renewed prior to their due date unless they have been requested by another user or the item is overdue.

To renew loans yourself:

• sign-in to MyLibrary and go to the Loans tab
• view your loans and choose either to Renew All  or select the individual item you wish to renew.

If someone requests an item you have out on loan, it may be recalled and the due date shortened.

You will get to keep the item for two weeks from the date of recall.

If any of your loans are recalled:

• you will receive an email (to your Macquarie University email address) advising you of the new due date
• you cannot renew a recalled item
• return the item by the new due date to make it available to the next person who needs it
