Why Leganto?

Leganto is a dynamic reading list solution which allows the unit convenor, student and librarian to collaborate in the creation, management and evaluation of recommended learning resources. 

Leganto allows you to:

  • Create dynamic lists gathered from a range of sources including the Library collection, internet, and multimedia resources
  • Easily manage and update resources for all of your units from session to session
  • Enable students to ‘like’ resources, create personal collections, share comments, and recommendations with classmates and lecturers
  • Extract analytics on student engagement with the unit materials such as full-text access views

Top Tips

  • Click on 'Send List' to have your list processed or whenever you make changes.

  • Lists are rolled over for the next session instance and are locked at the end of each session to prevent further editing. Please contact lib.unitreadings@mq.edu.au for any list access issues.

  • Materials that you do not own/have the permissions for cannot be uploaded to iLearn. Add these to Leganto and the Library will manage the copyright compliance for you.

  • Set a textbook? Add the titles details of your unit textbook in Leganto to ensure the library sources an ebook version if available.

  • Questions? Use the Library Discussion pane on the right-hand side of your reading list to communicate directly with Unit Readings team staff.
