Leganto Reading Lists for Convenors

Requesting Resources for Purchase

If the Library does not currently own, or have access, to a particular resource, then you can request it for purchase. Follow these steps to notify the Library;

Step 1 - Find the resource on a site such as Amazon, Book Depository, Booktopia, a publisher's website, etc.

Step 2 - Use the Cite It! bookmarklet to add it to the relevant Leganto reading list

Step 3 - Use the tag function to select Purchase;

The Library will process this request when they next work on your reading list. Unless specified using Send a note to librarian, ebooks will be purchased in preference to print books.

Interlibrary loans

If you only require a section from a resource that we do not own, then we can arrange an interlibrary loan.

Follow steps 1 and 2 for 'Requesting Resources for Purchase' (box on the left), and then select Digitise from the 'Add tags' list;

For book chapters, you will then need to Send a note to librarian with the chapter information. This can be done in the citation record;
