GetFTR (Get Full Text Research) is a browser extension works with publishers and discovery resources to ensure researchers can

  • Instantly identify full-text articles available through your institution or open access
  • Navigate directly to trusted content with smart links
  • Stay informed with retraction and errata information at the point of discovery
  • The extension is available for Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

How it works

Select and click on the Chrome / Edge / Firefox store icon below to install the extension to your browser:

  • Add your institution, in our case Macquarie University
  • Install GetFTR extension process - add your institution
  • Then click Continue
  • Install GetFTR process 2
  • You will then see the extension in your browser's menu bar.
  • Once you have installed the extension and chosen your institution, simply browse the web and look for the downlaod GetFTR PDF icon icons in the context
  • Click on the icon and you will be able to access the full text from Waranara Library or other open and free sources  .
