About Google Scholar Library Links

  • MQ Library participates in Google Scholar's Library Links program.
  • If you configure your Google Scholar settings to include links to MQ, you will be able to access full-text articles through the Library's database subscriptions.

How it works

There are two options for searching and accessing items from MQ Library in Google Scholar.

Accessing the direct link to Google Scholar@MQ

A direct link to Google Scholar@MQ can be found on the Library's homepage.

Setting up library access links via Google Scholar

  1. Visit Google Scholar 
  2. Go to the Menu at the top left corner of the screen
  3. Select Settings
  4. On the next screen, choose Library links
  5. Enter Macquarie in the search box. Run the search
  6. Tick the box next to Macquarie University - Find it@MQ
  7. Click Save

When you conduct a search in Google Scholar, you should now be able to see Find it@MQ links. Click on the relevant links to access the full-text articles that you require. You may also be prompted to log in with your OneID to access MQ Library materials.
